Developed by BIM content specialists IGS group (IGS BIM Solutions), the library has been created in line with industry best practices to deliver high-quality documentation, seamless visualisation, and optimised performance in a Revit project environment. 

The Darkon Revit library features a wide range of Lighting solutions suitable for a diverse range of project typologies including Residential, Healthcare, Workplace, Retail, Hotels, Education, and more.

Built natively in Revit with a lightweight approach to 3D geometry, the library includes an extensive range of wall and ceiling-mounted luminaires, pendants, downlights, track lighting, and highly parametric families for Linear and Curved Lighting. These parametric families empower designers to explore creative possibilities and design custom lighting solutions tailored to their projects. 

Darkon’s Revit families feature an intuitive range of customisation options, making it easier than ever to specify lighting solutions and confidently present design concepts. 

To assist with visualisation and planning, all families incorporate indicative light sources, enabling designers to easily generate accurate project renders and refine lighting layouts. 

A key feature of the library is the Virtual Showroom, a dedicated Revit project file that includes all Darkon families, preloaded and meticulously arranged. This makes it easy to browse, QA, and insert content directly into your projects.  

For added flexibility, Darkon’s Revit content is available in both Non-Hosted and Face-Based formats to accommodate user preferences and suit various design and documentation workflows. 

The library is accessible via both BIMcontent.com and the Darkon website, where designers can download individual families or curated collections in multiple Revit versions, ensuring maximum project compatibility.
