DECO Australia BIM Content Library by IGS Group

Design, document and specify premium timber-look aluminium cladding and batten systems with ease and accuracy using the DECO Australia Revit Library, developed by IGS BIM Solutions.

The DECO Australia Revit Library has been developed to support architects, designers and specifiers with high-quality BIM content for premium aluminium building systems, including DecoClad and DecoBatten, enabling confident design, documentation and specification directly within Revit.

DECO’s aluminium cladding and batten solutions are engineered for durability, aesthetics and compliance, making them well suited to bushfire-prone and high-performance projects where sustainability, fire safety and non-combustibility are key considerations.

The library incorporates a range of Revit assets used throughout the project design and documentation process to generate accurate and coordinated project deliverables. This includes Curtain Wall and Basic Wall System Families, Physically Based Rendering (PBR) Materials, and Native 2D Construction Detail Drawings, with 2D details also available in AutoCAD and PDF formats.

A key feature of the DECO Revit Library is the parametric mounting track family, which has been developed to adjust intuitively for both direct fixing and suspension options. The system allows for customisation of height, width, length and number of supports, enabling designers to accurately model DECO systems in response to specific project requirements.

For flexibility and ease of use, all DECO Revit content is available across multiple versions of Revit and can be downloaded as individual families, range-based collections, or as an all-in-one Virtual Showroom. The Virtual Showroom is a Revit project file with all library content preloaded and logically arranged, making it simple to browse, review and insert DECO products into live project models, including the full range of DecoWood® finishes.

To assist users in getting the most out of the library, a comprehensive DECO Revit Library User Guide is available for download, providing guidance on content structure and recommended workflows.

For real-time access without leaving your project environment, the DECO Revit Library is also available via the free BIMcontent.com Revit Plug-In, allowing designers to search, load and update content directly within Revit.
