BIM geeks, BIM nerds, BIM tragics. Whatever you want to call us, the UNIFI team (formerly IGS BIM Solutions) are true devotees of BIM and Design Technology. If we’re not officially ‘working’ in the office, there’s a good chance you’ll find us talking about BIM, reading BIM blogs (or writing one), engaging in online discussion about BIM, attending a BIM event (or organising one), contributing to a BIM industry working group or at the very least, thinking about BIM. Ben is a greatly respected BIM content specialist, a passionate BIM educator and a highly sought after Revit content creator. Ben established IGS (Innovative Growth Solutions) in 2009 as a technology solutions company providing a range of BIM services to the AEC (Architecture, Engineering and Construction) industry.
A true design technology ‘all-rounder’, Ben has a uniquely broad understanding of numerous design platforms. This allows him to provide both high level strategic guidance and technical direction on the way specific technologies and processes can be utilised effectively by UNIFI’s clients.
Ben has used Revit on a daily basis since 2006. He is widely viewed as an industry leader in the specialised area of Revit content creation. Ben has previously lectured at Swinburne University and provides technical consultancy to a number of Australian Architecture firms on advanced application of Revit for content creation and library development. This regular dialogue and collaboration with BIM, Design Technology and Project Documentation Managers from Australia’s largest design firms provides great insight into the challenges that exist in implementing BIM processes and delivering ‘real world’ projects using BIM workflows.
Ben’s ongoing vision for IGS is to promote collaborative relationships between Building Product Manufacturers (BPM’s) and the AEC industry via the creation of ‘fit-for-purpose’ BIM content solutions.

Luke is an outspoken BIM advocate, a specialist in providing strategic BIM services to Building Product Manufacturers (BPM’s) and an industry expert in communicating the role product manufacturers play in advancing collaborative BIM processes.
At UNIFI , Luke predominantly works with our BPM clients to develop highly effective strategies around the development and distribution of high quality BIM content solutions to specifiers. Luke is also responsible for managing relationships with our extensive BIM stakeholder network of Architects, Interior Designers, Engineers, Contractors and Technology Vendors.
Prior to joining IGS, Luke was the Marketing and (BIM) Development Manager for Britex. In this role, Luke was an early adopter in identifying the opportunity for BPM’s to create integrated, content-based sales and marketing strategies that better accommodate the way products are specified and procured in the emerging BIM environment. Luke has a wealth of hands-on experience developing high quality BIM content libraries for BPM’s in Revit, ArchiCAD and SketchUp formats.
In addition to his role with IGS, Luke is a Co-founder and Executive Committee Member of Victorian-based BIM industry group MelBIM, a writer for several online BIM publications such a BIMcrunch, a regular speaker at BIM events and a contributor to a number of BIM working/user groups including ANZRS (Australia & New Zealand Revit Standards), buildingSMART (National Object Library) and Collaborate-ANZ.
| Dominic Martens | BIM Technician |
Dominic is a BIM content technician with over 10 years of experience developing BIM content, specialising in Autodesk Revit. Prior to joining UNIFI, Dominic was most recently employed as a Head Content Creator and Revit Mentor in the Design Technology team at Hassell. In this role, Dominic was responsible for the creation of 3D content in multiple formats, used in a diverse range of projects managed by Hassell’s global offices. He has previously presented at BIM conferences such as Revit Technology Conference in both Australia and the USA.
With an acute understanding of how large AEC firms use Revit content in a real world project environment, Dominic is able to provide technically adept and contextually sound Revit content creation services to IGS’ clients.
